Copenhagen 27/8 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Yellow version of Quantrock's usual can-design with their characteristic logo with the forlorn tree.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - pale yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 3 cm thick layer of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of zesty citrus and freshly mown grass. Sweet pale malts, lime and lemongrass. Grass and a hint of pine trees.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bit thin and watery. Lingers shortly. Finish is semi-dry.
Pretty light brew. And the joke implied by the title is pretty old.
