This beer forms part of our roots as a brewery and is still brewed to its original recipe.
A classic porter recipe with a deep brown colour, a rich malty aroma rounded off with flavours of coffee and toffee on the palate.
Hops: Phoenix and Willamette.

Copenhagen 17/1 2024. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black label with Quantocks logo with the tree in white and white writing calling it a Classic Porter.
Pour dark maroon with a red hue Big off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet sugared odor of malts mingling with a dry, sharp, sourish scent- Sweet biscuit, brown sugar, bitter chocolate. Sour grains. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. A tad thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Decent Bitter - not much Classic Porter.
