Is this a shandy?? Pours light yellow with lacing that dissipates quite quickly. Medium to low carbonation. Tastes sucrose sweetness and pronounced citrus notes. Belgian yeast is bit too mild, and not particularly flavorful. It’s marketed as a Belgian pale ale...but needs all round tweaking to rise to other good Belgian pale ales.

I picked this up at Shoppers in Germantown , which doesn't have a great selection but does have at least a smattering of local breweries represented. I was pleasantly surprised as usually I am not a big fan of Belgians, but this drinks more like a hoppy golden ale. The yeast funkiness is only moderate and the texture is spot on for the style in a good way. This has a satisfying aftertaste and improves as it warms. Solid effort from Atlas.

12oz can into an IPA glass.
Look: Pours a pale, clear yellow. Small white head dissolves quickly but leaves a tiny bit of lacing.
Smell: Some herbal, earthy hops and Belgian yeast as well as citrus and melon.
Taste: Those grassy, earthy hops hit the palate first, followed by the Belgian yeast which really makes the citrus flavor come through on the end.
Feel: On the thin side of medium bodied, pretty low carbonation, small bubbles.
Overall: An interesting Pale Ale, which comes across as at once earthy and orangey. Easy to have a few, but not mindblowing.

Poured from the can into a tulip glass.
Fairly clear body color, but with a touch of haze slightly in the appearance, and not much rising carbonation. Head is quite flimsy a bit, lots of big soapy bubbles, but manages a simple solid collar.
Kind of an aroma that goes all over. Slight mix of sucrose and candi sugar, with a strong mix of grassy herbs, odd fruit, and some caramel notes. Bouquet seems to pull in a lot of varied directions.
Palate seems to continue much of the oddity. Real light bodied even for a pale ale, getting into a very flat mouthfeel. Seems a bit coriander and almost hinting at a big of leafy green veggies a touch on the palate. Drying touches of phenolic spice, but nothing distinct, almost washed out./
While drinkable, there's room to improve here.
