16 ounce can with rather hideous artwork that looks like fan art for one of those weird games that only 12 years olds play but for some reason they sell a ton of merchandise at Target
The pour is, indeed, very hazy. A thick, pale yellow with a very retentive white head. For the style, good.
Aroma is fruit-forward with a little bit of the citronella-ish nodes that I recall fondly from my frequent trips to Bissell Brothers back when I lived in New England. It's par for the course for NEIPA's in 2020, but still well done.
Flavor, likewise, is well done, even if it's not bringing anything new to the table. Which isn't to say that novelty is the be-all end-all, but when you're paying 6 bucks for a pint can you kind of hope for something that'll blow your socks off. Still, it's well done. Guava up front, pineapple and bitter citrus in the middle, and a thick, smooth finish that's pleasantly dry and bitter.
