Plattsburgh Brewing Company

They no longer brew or sell their own beer. The taps were the usual types of beer you find at any bar.
The bartender was good but overwhelmed as he had to take care of everyone as he was by himself.

Vibe is low with a large trefold monitor behind the counter. Service is ok. The food is decent. Great selection and very good brews. The location lacks (Walmart nearby)

 

Attached to a Comfort Inn, and feeling a bit like a sports bar, I was unfortunately informed that there were none of the brewery's beers on tap because they lacked a brewer. They had about a dozen guest beers on tap, mostly widely distributed beers that have been around for some time... I did not try the food. Very disappointing.

Took myself to my own birthday dinner here and ran through their lineup. I sat at the bar. Noticed some brewing tanks behind me and a huge big screen TV in front of me sporting the Eagles and the Saints that day. Yup, Saints destroyed the Eagles but eh, oh well I expected that - for this year at least. Very clean bar and fairly good service. I had a salmon BLT which was a fabulous idea and would definitely be interested in having more of. Went home with a growler of Alain. With these guys on the 'Plattsburgh board,' it will certainly make it hard for me to decide on which brewery to drink more of if it's a time crunch for me while I'm in Plattsburgh.

 

 

 

Me and my buddies love going here on Sundays for happy hour. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the beer is ok. There's nothing particularly wrong with any of them, but the wow factor is lacking. Consistency is also a problem, I'll go back a week after having a beer and it tastes completely different. But all in all, a pretty decent place.

 

Nice little brewpub, not huge. They had about 8-9 house taps plus a cider. It was late afternoon so not many people but i can imagine it gets packed. Beer was ok, nothing stellar. I'll come again on my cross border grocery shopping.

 

Was once called Legends sports pub, now is transformed into a genuine brewery and restaurant. about 15 beers brewed there, great names that are historical to the area. Food is good, reasonably priced. 4 beers is about $12. The brew master is experienced, knows what h is doing, I recommend the Double IPA, the seasonal pumpkin, and the Angry Musket IPA! Growlers are $14 and &11 to refill, and sells kegs at very reasonable cost!! If you are in the Adirondacks or on your way to Montreal pop by Plattsburgh to enjoy some craft beer!!
