Visiting the brewery for the second time today and having this on-tap. Served to me in a pint glass, this beer draws a clear, medium copper/amber color with a white head that's about 2/3 of an inch thick when first drawn and served to me. Head settles to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass along with some decent lacing. Aromas of smoked malt caramel sweetness along with hints of cherrywood and some earthy, floral hop bitterness. The taste is very similar, with a nice, smoked caramel malt sweetness with a definite distinct woody flavor from the cherrywood that gives way to some floral and earthy hop bitterness. Good balance of flavors. Has a fairly crisp, yet also somewhat smooth and frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish. Easy to drink in the good way a craft beer ought to be, and pretty solid overall.
