Pours brown with a subtle tribulations hue. Aroma is malt, dark fruit and subtle spice. Taste / feel is full bodied with distinct (but not overpowering) plum flavor (it's brewed with plums), malt and slight astringency. Plenty of cinnamon and spice in the aftertaste, but less in the body than a typical Christmas ale. A refreshing, unique take on the style.
