Pours hazy golden orange, white head, smells of slight maltiness with some orange peel slight piney and resin, tastes of crackery maltiness with bitter pine and orange peel. Moderate body and mouthfeel, low carbonation with lasting dry finish.

On tap into a shaker pint glass at the Gingerman in Dallas. Reviewed from notes dated June 10, 2015.
A-My pour arrives with a finger or so of nearly white head. The retention is good at more than a few minutes. The foam leaves a nice curtain of lace on the glass. The liquid is hazy and light golden.
S-I sniff a nice, spicy orange zest, some grapefruit, dried grass, and a little toasty malt base. The hops are assertive and this beer is moderately bitter.
T-The taste is similar to the smell with lots of spice and floral character. Some citrus (orange mostly) and a bit of straw or dried grass. The finish is pretty dry. Hop heavy with little in the way of balancing malts.
M-The body is lighter than average with moderate volume carbonation.
O-This is a decent IPA. I could have used a little more malt balance and some may not like the hop profile (Cascade), but it was a good opening beer for a night of Texas IPAs. I don't know that I would go hunting for more of this, but if you are in the mood for hops and an easy drinking beer, this is a good choice.
