An interesting brew. Pours a fluffy white head with peachy hazy hue. Steady stream of bubbles. Smell is lemon rind funk with a sweet oatmeal note. Hints of juicer fruit as well but subdued by the brett funk aroma. Taste and feel is not what I was expecting with a much smoother body and taste. A juicy brett taste with a smooth body and relatively low carbonation compared to other beers of the style. As it warms it almost becomes syrupy. To me this beer is a mixture between a hazy IPA and a saison with its brett and juicy fruit notes. Its worth a try but I wouldn't buy again. It straddles two styles, both of which have brews that are far better. Still interesting though.

12oz can, Bruery tulip, canned on 4/10/17.
Super hazy peach colored beer with a finger of white head that vanished.
Vitamin C chewables, lots of brett, super ripe funky stone fruit. Tart and sweet.
Mango, ripe peach, ripe apricot, navel orange, and juicy malts. All this talk about fruit shouldn't overshadow the significant brett. The funk is musty, tropical fruity, overripe, and dirty bitter. It isn't bright, dry, and crisp like some brett Belgian Pales. It is sweet, funky, and complex.
Light to medium bodied with healthy carbonation. There isn't much bitterness, but we get a slightly matte finish.
Nicely done. The one thing I don't get is the cabernet barrel. There's a lot of brett and it's delicious.

This is a locally brewed Wine Barrel Aged (Cabernet) Brett Saison (from Martin Brew House Brewing IBU 27) that I just tried for the first time. I thought it was pretty good, perhaps not my favorite, but pretty good. Martin Brew House is up and coming, and perhaps they are ready to take on Jester King (Texas top notch Saison brewery).
Look: Hazy golden slightly amber hue with a thin white bubbly head.
Aroma: wine, citrus, tart grape maybe
Taste: There’s significant Brett Funk but I didn’t think it was too much. There’s wine, grape, tart a little lemon.
Feel: light crisp and easy drinking in the Texas heat.

Look is a nice copper gold with 2 fingers of white head.
Aroma is dominated by wine barrel as I can't pick out any funk.
Taste is all funk. Straight up funk. I can tolerate it in small doses but my god it's too much for me here.
Feel is smooth.
Overall not really my cup of tea. Sorry

Recommended w/ enthusiasm when I asked a bottle shop clerk what new special beer releases were available. Was sold on buying this box, containing two cans, at a place where both KBS and DFH 120 were just sitting on the back shelf unsold. So, I got this too.
Poured from can into a clean mason jar. Hazy honey-like color, low creamy head and body-appearance. Nice visible carbonation.
Perfume-like floral bouquet with farmhouse funk and wine barrel hints.
Taste is nice leathery saison flavor with plenty of grape from the wine barrel bath. Flavorful and tart.
Smooth feel and then settles a little syrupy, ending with a crisp, dry bite.
This is interesting and full of flavor.

Pours a cloudy/hazy coppery color with off-white head. Funk, light tartness, oak, saison yeast, and some wine notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with funk, tartness, and dry.
