12oz can, Boulevard tulip, canned 7/28/17.
Apricot colored beer with a thin finger of head.
White grapefruit, green tea, lemon zest, and little peach after if warms.
Orange pith, orange and lemon zest, Earl Grey. The bitterness is light, especially for more of a West Coast-style IPA using exclusively a "C" hop.
Light-medium mouthfeel. Neither is it heavy, nor are there too many bubbles. I wouldn't say "just right"; it kind of stays out of the way.
I dig these single hop IPAs. It's fun to be able to try all of these hops individually. I'm quite familiar with Citra, but other hops that don't have as well known flavor profiles can be illuminating to try. The last one they did, Hallertauer, was quite good and more lemon citrusy than I expected. Keep it up Martin House.
