12oz can, Bruery tulip, canned
The color is your enticing, hazy IPA orange. Atop this colorful beer there is two fingers of orange-ish tan head.
The nose is deeply sweet. There's a spread of aromas, including bubble gum, gummy bears, tangerine, overripe melon, and alcohol, which comes out with a little warming.
The bubble gum shows up strong when you taste it. There is a deep, sweet, and musky floral flavor that I cannot pin down that defines this beer. It's floral, rosy, and candy like. Bitterness is a bit of an afterthought.
Medium bodied and a little juicy, the carbonation barely keeps up with the body and deep flavors.
Mosaic is so hot right now and from the beers using it that I have had, it usually presents different flavors than I find here. It's more bright and fruity in other beers, while its floral and deep here. I like it, but the alcohol becomes a little much when it warms at all. I'm curious why the Cellarman's Reserve series is all 7% and not lower. Another solid one, keep this series going!
