12oz can, Bruery tulip, canned 10/26/17.

Hazy orange with a nice tight off-white head. The lacing is really nice.

Lemons, limes, ripe bananas. Alcohol begins to show as it warms.

Lemon and yellow grapefruit juice flavors, with strong bitterness that comes through quickly.

Medium-bodied with medium carbonation.

It's another fruity/citrusy hop. It's hoppy, and I love hops, but Pacifica is no game changer.

12 fl oz pull-tab can purchased at a Trader Joe's in Austin, TX for $1.50 USD plus tax.

Single hop beer with Pacifica hops. Canned 10/26/17. 7% ABV.

Served cold into a conical pint glass.

Standard copper body colour. Frothy creamy off-white head.

Flavours of creamy orange marmalade and floral notes sit atop a simplistic pale malt backbone.

Texture is thin, smooth, wet, and unrefreshing.

Overall, it's wanting. Single hop simplicity brings this brew down, and why they picked a Hallertau-adjacent hop for an IPA is beyond me. I could see Pacifica.
