Has deep dark chocolate color that looks like prune juice. Had a nice but short lived head. Very nice aroma with sweet dark fruits, raisins, molasses and prunes. The taste follows the nose, add some sweetness. The alcohol is strong, very noticeable and lingering. It has a smooth mouthfeel like I'm drinking a liqueur. Not a wine drinker but the wine is coming through on the back end. This is nice for a change of taste. I think they made a nice beer for a quadrupel. Poured into a snifter from a Brewed on:July 26,2017 can. I would buy this one again.

This beer has the coolest draft pull handle, complete with grizzly bear! Poured into a small snifter. Deep reddish brown with good head and lacing. Very fragrant red wine smell. Taste is sweet with dark plums and raisins, dark red wine, slightly boozey. You can definitely taste the wine cask, a bit rustic. Fun beer!
