Tasty, but a bit too sweet for my liking. If you're looking for a beer that's more of a dessert, this is for you.

A beautiful light beer that retains a bit of its head. Pleasant vanilla smell. While the taste is good because you do get a very nice initial burst of vanilla flavor, I feel that it isn’t as robust as I was expecting. It is a milder vanilla, not a vanilla extract flavor or a vanilla bean ice cream cone. However, it is still good. Vanilla Bean is my favorite flavor and I love trying all things vanilla so I may be a little more critical than most on trying any vanilla ale. The taste is more of alcohol and less of vanilla as you progress through your glass. Good mouthful.

Has a nice gold color, a white head that disappears quick. It has a wonderful vanilla aroma and the initial taste is a nice vanilla but quickly turns into tasting like alcohol. It has a nice mouth feel.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of fizzy just off white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is very strong of a sweet vanilla crème like smell mixed with a decent showing of a bready aroma as well as a touch of caramel. Overall the aroma is sweet and inviting like a vanilla frosted, vanilla cupcake.
Taste – The taste is similar too what one may expect from the nose. It begins with a very big bready like vanilla cake flavor that has nice notes of some sweet milk and crème. As the taste advances all these flavors remain strong, except for the milkiness which gets slightly less intense. A light taste of toasted malt comes at the very end of the flavor profile, and with the rest, leaves one with a very nice and sweet vanilla cupcake like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. The easy drinking feel, but hearty enough thickness, is great for the flavors, creating a light cupcake like taste to match the feel.
Overall – A rather tasty brew with a nice sweet vanilla cupcake like flavor. A desert in a glass for sure.
