12oz canned 5-21-20, opened 6-13-20.
1 finger off white head on an amber-golden opaque "stout".
Decent retention down to a cap and then easily agitated back to 1/4" head. Patchy and wispy lacing.
Peanut butter powder. Smells like it's going to be sweet...light brown sugar aroma.
Sweet malts, brown sugar, caramel, peanut butter.
Medium to full body, smooth mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Semi-sweet finish.
Too sweet for my tastes.
Okay to Good.

Translucent medium amber color with a thick off-white head. Smells of roasted peanuts and grain. The taste is less peanut butter than it is honey roasted peanut, which is just fine. Not bitter at all. Medium bodied, smooth, tasty.

Not dark enough to be a stout. Smells like beer with a melted s’more in it. Strangest beer I’ve ever tasted, but tastes exactly how it smells. Feels like carbonated sweet water. The art is nice though, sparks curiosity.

Unworthy of being called a "Stout." It is not dark, and the taste is nasty and chemical. I am perplexed as to how Walmart would have chosen to carry this abomination.

Poured with a nice head. The reddish color was a pleasant surprise. Definitely a sweeter smelling beer than usual, with a nice sweet taste to go with it. This would be a great dessert beer. Mouth feel is creamy and there is no doubt it is a peanut butter beer. I would highly recommend.

12oz can, tulip, canned on the 18th of some month earlier this year. The stamp is on the bottom rim of the can and didn’t fully transfer.
I’d call it peanut butter brown. A bit more reddish of course, and also lightly hazed with visible particles. The head is a nice finger and a half of medium tan.
Peanut butter ice cream or powdered peanut butter, or maybe peanut butter cookie. Good peanut butter intensity, nuttiness, and earthiness. Creamy and rich.
While sweeter than most, that’s not all that’s going on here. There’s a Graham cracker compliment to the smooth peanut butter, reminding me of peanut butter pie, which I coincidentally have a piece of tonight from a diner visit. It’s really what you’d expect, well executed. Peanut butter pudding/filling, vanilla, Graham cracker crust.
Full creamy body with medium-low carbonation that’s enough to keep the sweetness enjoyable.
Peanut butter beers are a rare dessert treat that are often either a cloying mess or an interesting flavor trip. This is the latter.

Pours amber/dark orange in color with a tall tan head that has good retention. Smells rich of malts & artificial peanut butter. Taste follows the nose, I love PB stouts, but this one is just way to artificial for me. Full-bodied, warming, surprisingly smooth. Unfortunately disappointed in this beer, the PB flavor was just way to artificial.
