Pours a dark, opaque reddish brown color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is decent. Aroma of maple syrup, brown sugar and molasses. Definite maple syrup taste. Also has brown sugar and a touch of bourbon. Medium bodied with mild to moderate carbonation.

Pour is brown - interestingly, defitnely brown - not black. With a thin, fizzy, khaki head that quickly to nothing
Nose is maple, hint of bourbon
Taste is cinnamon, maple, subtle bourbon, brown sugar, molasses, toasted malt.
Medium body with medium low carb. Lingering cinnamon, roasted malt.

Can says stout. Beer drinks and looks like a brown ale? It’s got to be mislabeled?
