Pours a hazy yellow to straw color with a nice head dissipating to a thin layer of foam.
Lacing is minimal.
Nose is citrus with a bit of malt.
Taste is strong citrus, like pineapple or grapefruit, with a tangy bitterness in the aftertaste.
Alcohol is hidden, either by the bitterness of the citrus or the malt. Not sure which.
Mouthfeel is nice and light with a bit of fizziness at first taste. It’s not very resinous.
The bitterness was strong at the beginning, but with half the 16 oz gone it’s growing on me.
I like it, but probably not a huge favorite.

Golden orange body, tangerine-like; mild haziness; thick, slow-rising carbonation; huge head, white and rocky. Mild bready malt aroma. Nice flavor; zesty and malty; moderate to bold hop bitterness; very faint citrus quality; some phenol-like notes. Heavy body; velvety residual sugar feel; subdued alcohol note; fairly dry overall.
This is a decent beer, perhaps a bit old as I didn't get a lot of distinct hop character other than a decent hop bitterness. More malt-like than anything else.
Pouring temperature: 45 °F; canning info: CANNED 06/0?/??

This beer is delicious. The hops tastes like citrus fruit with some bitterness at the end and hides the alcohol very well. I haven't gotten a good look at the color but who cares about color enough for it to get in the way of a good review. Most important factors are smell, taste, and how good the buzz is. In this case the smell is just like it tastes or vice versa. This is a damn good double IPA. Much thanks to Martin House Brewing Company. Keep up the good work .

Canned on 6/10/22, so this is super fresh. Pours a nice light color (colorblind, so dunno what, looks like orangey yellow to me), with a nice hop haze.
On the nose, huge whiff of cat pee. Huge. Followed by pineapple, and a whiff of sulfur. Smells gross. Taste is very similar, cat pee for days, some fruitiness, light sulfur, and an umami yeastiness. Light hop burn on the palate, which didn't bother me. Well balanced on sweetness and bitterness, at least.
Seriously. It smells like a cat sprayed it right before I drank it. This was pretty bad.

Canned 6/11/22. Drank 6/22/22
Pour is a clear light copper with two fingers of thick, rocky, white head. Good retention. Great lacing.
Nose is a huge wave of pineapple, grapefruit juice
Taste follows. Pineapple, grapefruit, lemon rind, candied orange. firm bitterness and a moderate caramely malt backbone. great double ipa
clean, crisp body. not sweet. lingering bitterness.
