Appearance; Pours a slightly hazy amber-red, with a small-finely-beaded head which soon fades to a scattering of foam on the surface. The lacing is thin, scattered, and fine-beaded. Numerous streams of minute bubbles drift lazily to the surface.
Aroma: The aroma is remarkable, it strongly reminds me of a doughnut with maple cream frosting and a dusting of cinnamon. The high ABV of 10% is all but absent from the aroma, which is nothing, if not profoundly sweet.
Taste: As with the aroma, the taste is like a doughnut glazed with maple cream and dusted with cinnamon. There is a notable presence of vanilla as well. Interestingly, the high ABV is notable mainly due to its gracious warmth, I find little evidence of it in the taste, which is most impressive. Toward the end of the taste, there is a mild wave of maple and brown sugar. The finish consists of a lingering note of maple cream.
Mouth feel: Smooth and full, and quite soft, the carbonation is slight.
Drinkability/notes: Dazzlingly sweet, it seems a perfect compliment to sugar cookies, or really any sweet other than chocolate. While I would not care to drink this every day, it would be very pleasing on occasion. Put That Cookie Down well suits the Christmas season, as visions of sugarplums dance through our heads.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard sixteen ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Pours a cloudy red amber color with a small carbonated head. Retention is virtually non-existent. No real lacing. Very sweet sugar cookie, brown sugar, and vanilla aroma. Very sweet vanilla and cookie taste. It is almost too sweet to drink. Light to medium bodied with mild carbonation.

My first time commenting on this site. I am no beer expert, but I can tell you that this the absolute worst beer I've ever tried. 16oz can poured into glass, nice and cold. First few sips I kind of liked it, made it about 8 oz in and couldn't finish it.
