Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades over a moderate amount of time, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a sour green apple smell mixed with a strong showing of sugar sweetness, bit of candied apple, and some smells of a light bread and cracker malt. Overall smells like a sour apple jolly rancher
Taste – The taste starts out with a with a sour green apple and apple cider vinegar like flavor that is backed by a bit of cracker malt. Other flavors of some light caramel and sugar sweetness are upfront as well, balancing he sour nicely. As the taste advances the sour green apple gets more intense and begins taking control of the taste, leaving one in the end, with a sour green apple taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is high and prickly. For the sour and tart nature of the brew the feel is good and makes for a good easy sipper.
Overall – A rather decent sour overall. A good tart and sour green apple sipper that is somewhat intense, but quite approachable.
