Canned 2/21/23. Drank 3/22/23
Pour is a deep, crystal clear, copper hue with an nice thick, lasting lightly beige had after a rather aggressive pour. Excellent retention. Decent lacing.
Cracking the beer open reveals pine, citrus rind, grapefruit. Hints of bready malt.
Taste follows - classic west coast ipa (double ipa? listed at 8%, but can says 'India Pale Ale'). I'd happily buy 6 packs of this. Pine, resin, citrus rind, grapefruit, dank, firm bitterness, but nicely supported by hints of caramel malt.
smooth and easy to drink. a very good beer.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep golden color with a small head of white foam. The head has a moderate level of retention, fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heavy of a bready malt aroma mixed with some light tropical fruit smells of tangerine and pineapple. Mixed with these is a strong showing of caramel and some hop smells of a grapefruit, herbal, and pine nature. There is also a bit of hay and a touch of melon rounding it all out.
Taste - The taste begins with a bready malt flavor mixed with some light graininess and a light caramel sweetness. There is also flavors of pine and herbal hop upfront, both of which get stronger as the taste advances forward. At the same time some grapefruit hop joins in, remaining the lighter of the hop flavors, but present none the less. Some rye flavors and some orange and light harvest fruit tastes join in as well, mixing with the rest to take the taste to its finish and leaving one with a slightly more malty and rather well hopped taste.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the slightly thicker and chewier side with a carbonation level that is low. For the malt and danker hop tastes the feel is rather well done, accentuating the flavors rather well and creating a slow sipper.
Overall – A rather rather nice IPA overall. Slightly more malty with a good hop blend and easy drinking nature.

Another non-extreme beer from martin house, rare as those are.

A very standard but tasty iPA, solid malt backbone with plenty of long chain sugars to hide the ample alcohol and compliment the plentiful hops, which have a biting presence.

IPA lovers, well, this is an IPA so what are you waiting for.
