12oz can, dated 02.26.2024, poured into a stemless wine glass. Enjoyed on 11.24.2024, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a bright honey color, golden amber hues, cloudy with a foamy white head that yields spotted lacing. The aroma is harsh, artificial strawberry, banana smoothie, oaky, sugary, mineral water, hard candy sweetness. The flavors are equally harsh, jolly rancher hard candy, cloyingly sweet, very boozy, artificial strawberry, heavy banana, oak, oddly tart at times, with mineral water and a funky finish. The mouthfeel is good, coating, smooth, tart, with a creamy and warm finish.
Verdict: A gimmicky mess. Reads like a banana smoothie blended with strawberry hard candies and spiked aggressively with booze. Weirdly sweet, weirdly tart.
