Doctor Evil is a beast of a beer, checking in at a whopping 14.2%. It was brewed with caramel bits and sea salt. We aged it in whiskey barrels for five months.
The result is pure evil. Hope you enjoy it!

Appearance: Black glass, doesn't hold a head (not surprising).
Aroma: Strong butterscotch, I guess you could say toffee, but it comes across as a bit artificial.
Taste: Extremely sweet, with that heavy butterscotch. A bit like a Pasty Stout, very rich. A little of the whisky barrel comes through, but it gets a bit washed out.
Mouthfeel, Medium heavy body, slick texture, warming.
Overall: Not my favorite Martin House, it's just too sweet. Wife enjoyed it, you might too, but I'll try one of their wide range over this.

Very dark. Almost black. Head is a dark brown.
A little sweet, and at over 14% the alcohol is apparent.
Notes of toffee, raisins, vanilla. It's just very strong. And syrup like. I'm actually going to probably finish the whole thing, which I would almost never do with a beer this strong a sweet.

Look: Black with a thick mocca colored head
Aroma: roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, whiskey
Flavor: The flavor is primarily salted caramel, butterscotch, but also roasted malts, milk chocolate and whiskey. I was surprised it was so salty as well sweet.
Body/Overall: Full bodied, flavorful, I liked it.

Pours a deep golden brown, almost black, color, like molasses, with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Strong aromas of caramel and whisky. This is, as advertised, a whisky barrel-aged salted caramel stout, and the taste is exactly what you might expect. Boozy but smooth and exquisitely balanced. Absolutely delicious.

Thick, oily looking pour, small brown heads fades quickly. It certainly smells like salted caramel and booze. Thankfully, this was less sweet than expected. It is boozy and pretty good.
