Well I'm not familiar with red and black currants, so I'm not sure how accurate this one is to the real fruits. However there's a clear fruitiness, which is medium and not overwhelming. The sourness is pretty light, with a low pucker factor. Carbonation is light, but there's still a touch of fizzyness. Overall it seems to be the standard Martin house sour with some novel fruit flavors added.
I'll call it as somewhere in the middle of the Martin house sour spectrum, which encompasses a bunch of beers ranging from fantastic to lousy (tho most are at least decent. Only key lime pie was truly lousy in my book, but they made a second batch so obviously what the heck do I know).
Martin house is simply amazing for the huge selection of beers they offer. Many are downright insane, and I don't think they've ever turned down a beer idea, regardless of who proposed it or whether they are completely insane. And when you make absolutely everything anyone proposes, once in a while you come up with a real hit. I doubt this beer is that smash hit, but it's a perfectly good sour.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
