Poured a blackish body with one-finger tan head that slowly died. The smell is like chocolate syrup with hints of roasted malts. Medium body, sticky, but has a slickness to it that is nice and reminds me of chocolate syrup with touches of caramel. Also, you get the lactose and it's slick but wouldn't necessarily call this a cocoa krispie treat. Booze is hidden and this is a nice, slow sipper that is worth a try.

Appearance: Murky brown/black opaque glass, doesn't hold a head. A thin edge shows a little light.
Aroma: Super sweet, caramel, powdered sugar, with a strawberry hard candy. It's a bit much.
Taste: Maybe not quite as over the top sweet as the nose, but it's close. There's a minor artificial note to the sweetness as well. Not a lot of beer flavors come through, no hops, maybe a little dark malt in with all those other sugars.
Mouthfeel: Low carbonation, slick texture, medium heavy body with a hint of chew.
Overall: It's a lot of different sugars with some beer added. I'd probably like this if it was turned down to about a 3. It's currently at a 9. I'm sure Martin House made what they wanted to here, it's just too much for me. Still worth a taste.

Pours a murked up chestnut/mahogany with fast falling mocha colored head. Zero head retention & lacing
S: Faint cocoa notes, not much else
T: Some caramel, chocolate, dryness & vanilla up front. Dryness, chocolate syrup & a little caramel once this beer is warm. Finishes with some chocolate milk notes & a little dryness & caramel. If everything else was on par with the flavor, this could've been a much better beer
MF: Medium-ish body, super low carbonation. Carbonation picks a little once warm, body thins out
Had hopes for this one, not horrible, just not good. Flavors seem okay, but the body is a mess along with the nose
