Hearts on Fire has a medium, beige head and a dark-brown appearance, with tight bubble streams, tan yeast chunks, and heavy lacing. The aroma of dark-roasted malt and brown bread crust. The flavor is of sweet, strongly-bitter brown bread, some coffee, and chocolate. Hearts on Fire has a medium body, a bit of a velvety mouthfeel, and a dry finish.

Canned 11/17/25 Drank 1/21/26
Pour is black with a dense cap of tight, creamy, cinnamon colored foam. Excellent retention.
Nose is roasted malt, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, hint of ash.
Taste follows. Rich bittersweet chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, ash, nutty, toasted malt. hints of grassy hops on the finish. very nice balance.
Smooth, cream, full bodied. Nicely balanced. Never overly sweet.
This is an excellent example of a classic RIS
