Appearance - Pours a dark black, not much light getting through unless you're peering through the edges of the glass. Not much of a head and what there is dissipates pretty quickly.

Smell - Dark roasted malts, a hint of mocha and coffee.

Taste - Taste follows the smell. Not much hop bitterness but packs a punch where the coffee/dark malts are concerned.

Moutfheel - Excellent mouthfeel. Rolls across the tongue like a water slide. This stout goes down real smooth.

Overall - This is a really solid stout and one of the best offerings from Martin House. A classicly constructed and very drinkable stout--would be great with a desert or that last beer before you go.
