Hand-pulled pint in The Malcolm Arms, Anton’s Gowt, a small hamlet in Lincolnshire on 29 Mar 2013.
Dark amber/ruby red with a slight haze: a rich tan coloured head sat on top.
Malts rule the flavours: semi-sweet molasses in both the nose and taste: no bitter finish to speak of, the malts completely ruling the whole drinking experience.
Not bad, but a bit one dimensional.
