Historically created in and around Düsseldorf Germany.
With an amber hue, malt forward character, floral hops and traditional Ale yeast, letting it rest for weeks in our lagering tank produced the clean, crisp finish it’s traditionally known for.
Brewed in collaboration with Danny Bruckert, former Head Brewer at Sixpoint Brewery in Brooklyn, NY. A Graduate of the American Brewers Guild Program, with 18+ years in the industry and a passion for traditional German Biers, the decade long friendship with Arch Rock was inevitable.

Can from Uptown
A clear, deep mahogany red with a light brown head with good retention and lacing. The nose has all the lovely malt character you want from and altbier, toasty, caramelized, toffee, dark honey but all done deftly. The hops are more assertive on the palate with a noticeable, herbal bitterness that tempers the sweeter malt flavors. Rye bread- like depth with burnt sugar. Drying, light finish, making this refreshing and delightful.
