Appearance - white head pours pebbly and dissipates quickly, deep golden color with slight brown hue

Smell - exploding with sweet and rich malts, hops are much more floral

Taste - boldly sweet grains that balance mid-mouth to a big hopped finish. Notes of earthy spices lending a robust balance to already complex flavors.

Mouthfeel - medium body with dominant presence of hop oils, this was only drunk hours after the growler fill yet carbonation is depressingly low

Overall - Most strong ales I've encountered are of a much darker breed than this one, the pale nature of this style lends itself to be paired with foods of a bit brighter, spicier character. The hop aroma alone makes this beer worthy of a try.
