a wonderful new gose from these guys, a total drinker, perfectly tart without being real acidic, refreshing and light, a perfect compliment to their epic smoked chicken wings in here, and a rare gose that i want to drink ten of! my favorite from my recent session here. very light yellow, uniformly hazy, but delicate and fizzy, airy short white head sits there mellow the whole time, and i love the little stemmed glasses this is served in, gorgeous presentation. aroma is clean, citrusy, lactic, lemon peel and soft toasted coriander notes, tidy minimalist wheat, some sprite soda character, and geranium or something lightly floral. the flavor is just like the nose, some good complexity but simple beer overall, clean and with the right amount of acidity, excellent ferment, all the way dry, but i can still taste the wheat in here. very fresh to me, the coriander is subtle, and the salt dries it out even before the swallow. i love the light brine and the tang together, almost a green olive essence to it from that, effervescent carbonation, highly thirst quenching, even natural lemonade character at the end. a gorgeous and traditional example of the style, no weird dry hopping, lactose, or weird fruit additions needed. this is world class! i hope they keep this in the regular lineup!
