Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of amazing coffee (strong, sweet, and fresh), sweet malt, and slight roasted malt. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, slight roasted malt, strong coffee, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, good appearance, the coffee in the body and aroma is very good, but low complexity otherwise.

The brewer notes that this is the DieselPunk Porter that has been infused with Costa Rica Tarrazu beans roasted by Rock Creek Coffee Roasters. Same ABV and IBU as the regular DieselPunk.
Same look and body as the regular version. Dark brown, thin frothy head. Medium body, higher fizzy carbonation, it could be thicker for the style.
Huge black espresso aroma, which also dominates the taste. very nice. the coffee flavors are very pleasant and work well with the base beer. Very nice.
