Copenhagen 3/4 2022. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer webshop. Light green label with a cook getting advice from an angel and a devil and looking a bit conflicted as a result.
A bit gushy upon opening Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a huge white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citrus scents and a funky whiff. Sweet pale malts, peach and bread. Lemon and citrus. Sour cheese and musty cellar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
Bitter and citric with a solid malty backbone.
