Enchanting Orange Marmalade and ripe pineapple notes resonate from the glass of our very drinkable Double IPA. This malt forward brew has slight caramel notes on the pallet and finishes with just the right amount of bitterness and a hint of spice.

Something about this beer i can't put my taste on. I think its the malt of this double IPA. I think its too malty for this double, maybe its the amount of hops or whatever i think its over malty. ITs a little dark for most double IPAs. As Im drinking it the looks is growing on me. Its by no means a dark beer. just darker the double IPA i had before this one.( really its more dark orange then anything) It has the malt smell with some hops in there but, its mostly malt forward for my taste. Its really good but i wish i hadn't had a double before this one. Overall its a worth having double IPA. Have one yourself and let me know what you think.

Bottled on 8/11/15.

Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and pine needle flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that smells solid, but the flavors on this one have a slightly better mix of hop qualities to me.

Serving type: bottle.

This is a great D IPA, powerful scent right off after pouring the bomber bottle and then fights the bubbles all the way down with hoppy bitterness. I really like this beer. Grapefruit, caramel malt, fresh pine cone forest dirt that lingers. This is a complicated mash of some strong hops with an alcohol backbone that speaks to me. Desire more bottles from this brewery, what else are they capable of???

Rich clear copper body. Small white head. Beautiful lacing.

Nose is that thick honey sweet and dank. pine and a touch of mango. Woody and almost meaty.

Blunt pine and a touch of mango and honey. mostly pine though. Sap and wood and something malty I can't quite place towards the end. Almost like baby powder.
Finish is strong and bitter. Some interesting notes going on here, and some enjoyable ones as well, but overall there's something else
