Bottled on 7/22/15.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus zest, grapefruit juice, earthy hop, and slight rye aromas. Taste is much the same with grapefruit juice, candied citrus zest, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a rye presence that is quite subtle compared to the hops.
Serving type: bottle.

Pours a finger of head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma has a low dankness, grapefruit, pineapple and spices.
The taste has great balance, mild bitter to start, spicy middle and a long moderate bitter finish.
The texture is soft with a nice fizz.
This is a great IPA.
