This looks nice enough with the golden amber color in the big tulip. Dry and sharp. The malt seems swallowed by the murky, medicinal (or maybe Medieval) hops. Really bitter from the first sip. This can't be called a Pale Ale by any steetch.
I'd have to call this a waste of Mosaic hops. It's virtually undrinkable after a few sips. this is a prime example of the fresh hop that is not so good in the whole cone as it is in the more mellow pelletized version. It doesn't even have a pleasurable aroma.
Harsh. I kept revising my scores downward the glass got lower, but I still left half of it. On tap at Fifty Seven Degrees, across Washington Street from Acoustic's brewery.
