This is one of the Ales For ALS San Diego Style beers. On tap at the brewery at Washington St.
Clear amber color with a modest foam in the pint shaker. Sharp and tingly in the mouth. Fairly light body.
Pretty intense bitter and resiny taste. It's rye, alright, but so overhopped. Great aroma of piney and resiny hop oils. Dry and herbal. Hard to take after half a pint.
