$ 11.77 ($ 7.99 + $ 3.78 shipping)/bomber ($ 0.535/oz) from CraftShack, San Diego
Smeared “Bottled on” date on bottom curve of bottle at 42 degrees into a hand washed and dried JK snifter
Aroma – nicely piney
Head large (Maximum 7.8 cm, aggressive pour), off white, frothy, diminishing to a three mm ring and heaped frothy partial layer
Lacing – fair. Islands and archipelagoes of tiny to small bubbles all over the glass
Body – yellow, clear, slight effervescence
Flavor – begins nicely piney with some rye spiciness, slightly bitter. Some malt comes through after the initial pineyness. No alcohol, no diacetyl. Ends slightly chalky.
Palate light, watery, lively carbonation.
Seems more like an APA than an IPA, light but still good.
Appearance 4, Aroma 4.25, Flavor 4.25, Palate 3.75, Overall 4
