It was not very long ago that my father and I started on an epic journey, one that would lead us to the opening of Funky Bow Brewery and Beer Company. Along the way we decided we needed a delicious dark beer that could satisfy us and keep our spirits alive. And Suddenly the Five String Oatmeal Milk Stout was born.
With its rich thick head, voluptuous tasty body, and assertive chocolate malt and roasted barley backbone, we created a new twist on an old classic.
We added a touch of hops and conditioned the stout with delicious vanilla beans to add a hint of flavor.
