Named after the brutal winter that will destroy a third of mankind before Ragnarok in Norse mythology. Fimbulvetr is a double IPA fermented with Norwegian yeast made for the sub-zero winter temperatures in Minnesota.

750ml bottle. Batch 263. Bottled Feb. 2018.
Hazy, medium gold colored body. Each pour brings forth a multi finger depth of egg shell white head. As the head recedes it leaves behind tendrils of lacing.
Aroma of smoke and citrus.
Taste is sweet and smoky, with citrus flavors and piney sticky at the end. Perceived bitterness is low.
Heavier mouth feel, with a resin texture. Excellent carbonation.
This beer has mellowed with age in the bottle, but it still expresses the essence of a smoked imperial IPA.
