Appearance: Dark brown with red highlights in the light, good head.
Smell: Toffee, smoked ham, wood, vanilla.
Taste: Nice sweetness at first, wood, kind of a little jumbled smoke/sweet mix. Smoke in the finish, alcohol is hidden.
Overall: Picked up a couple bottles at the release. This is another solid Hammerheart beer, it was little surprising how little the alcohol came through in the taste at 12.5%. My taste buds couldn't quite separate the smoky sweet mix in the body of this beer.
