From a 16oz can:
Appearance: Orange, slight haze, ok head then fades out.
Smell: Earthy, dark fruit, booze.
Taste: Boozy, fruit--cherry, apple. Somewhat light body for 9% ABV.
Overall: Well, I've finally had a Hammerheart beer that I'm not enamored with. I'll admit I'm not an amber lager guy, but I figured Hammerheart would put an interesting twist on their version. Not so much in the case of this beer, I suppose the twist is the high alcohol content while retaining a light feel.
