August 4th, 2016 - This serving of Chukalek's Weisse is served with an optional - and welcome - dose of Woodruff syrup. High, tangy and satisfying, the aroma has a lot of bright lemon, tangerine and lime to offer, crisp and clean against the sultry August air. The palate is light and crisp, but has a gripping flavor. It starts blank at first, but fills in with color, flavor and a bright flavor, pinging the salivary glands with a pealing acidity. I can see why this beer so frequently sells out here at Chukalek.
