This is really a solid III IPA! It looks clean and drinkable. It smells mellow, but it takes like roasted beer with with several smoothly intoxicating levels of aftertaste. This is an outstanding beer!

Canned 4/15/2020 consumed from a tulip
Appearance is light copper, crystal clear. I love Altamont's commitment to clear beer :)
Smell is DANK; I'd be super stoked to pay $60 an 1/8th and put this thru a double chamber icewater bong, reeeeeeks of some nasty purps from several feet away
Taste is creamy and fruity, well balanced citrus and pine. A little sweeter than bitter, but almost too well balanced.
ABV is well hidden, easy drinker for a triple, light and quaffable :D
For Altamont fans; this is a refined Hella Hoppy like only Altamont can do. Checks the WCIIIPA boxes with bold check marks.

Quaffed a glass at Hopwater Disstribution in SF. Looked really good with a. Caramel color. The smell was enticing with good aromas. The first sip locked in with a high alcohol warning. The taste was good but not sure why it had a an alcohol forward taste every sip.... aftertaste was a tart bitter one and a bit harsh. Almost there....

Missing some other flavors to help balance the abv..lots of Rye flavor, some spice, and bitterness.

On-tap at HG.
A: Caramel color with a thin and greasy off-white head that faded into a thin collar. Super oily network of stick spotty lace left down the glass.
S: Dank hop notes smell like weed with slight sticky caramel undertones. Super grassy with notes of herb garden and pine needles.
T: Thick and sweet flavors of dank, sweet, sticky, and resinous hops. Huge hop oil presence and a sticky sweet honey-like sweetness. Lingering sweetness, great balance for being so ballsy. No booze warmth.
M: Thick body, super heavy and greasy mouthfeel, soft and slick carbonation. Oily and greasy. More sweet than bitter but still a good punch. Slick and heavy.
O: Really good. Clean and easy for how heavy it was.
