Pint on tap at THG on 4th of July release.
A: Slightly cloudy burnt golden in color with a quarter inch of greasy off-white head that left wispy, soapy, lace down the glass.
S: The nose is a fresh and potent combination of dank and resinous hops mixed with citrusy orange creamsicle.
T: Tastes follows the nose with flavors of orange creamsicle icecream, juicy citrus nectar, a fresh green blossom type flavor, with slight mint and evergreen in the finish. This beer is on the sweeter side, and I'd say more juicy and fruity than leafy, dank, and resinous, but the finish and aftertaste do have a herb garden type of dankness to it.
M: Creamy and smooth mouthfeel full of slick fresh hop oils, low and soft carbonation, very smooth and fresh. Medium-full body, sweet in taste but fairly light and drying on the palate aside from the fresh resinous quality. Drinks really well overall.
O: Extremely fresh and smooth packed full of juicy and resinous hops. A delicious ipa that rivals those produced by either brewery.
