Peanut butter and chocolate! What's not to like if that's your thing? Those flavors are skimpy either. I did expect a thicker mouth feel, but that's forgiven thanks to it's flavor. Worth a try!

16oz can with no best by or canned on date. Opened 4-25-20. Not a nitro can.
1 finger beige head retains well at 1/4". Black with dark brown edges. Thin wispy lacing.
Light nutty, peanut butter aroma initially. Savory almost popcorn note in the nose.
Nutty, milk chocolate, bitter roasted malt, some dark fruit.
Thinner body than what I expected. Dry finish is a plus.
Okay to Good.

As the other reviewers on here have stated, there isn't much of a head on this. Granted, I took this out of the fridge and didn't let it come up a few degrees. The taste is phenomenal, maybe that's just the kid in me speaking. You won't be disappointed.

It is a rich dark color with almost no head to it. The smell is a mild peanut aroma and the taste is mostly peanut butter with a trace of chocolate. It is a good, smooth blend of both flavors. Overall a good drink and a nice treat.

Canned 12/18/18, consumed 1/10/19
Poured black with a huge, thick, light tan nitro head. Great rich peanut butter aroma. Taste is peanut buttery but not as rich as the aroma with a faint bit of chocolate and malt notes. Feel is pretty thin, expectedly low carbonation, smooth but not really as creamy as I'd hoped. Overall a solid PB stout.

Nitro can dated 12/18/18 into a nonic pint. Gorgeous appearance, lots of peanut butter on the nose, does not gain prominence on the taste until the beer is warm. Very creamy mouthfeel. Its solid but not spectacular, would definitely have again.

Not sure why this says 'retired' on here, because I just had it today on tap at Bear Naked Growler, Montpelier, Vermont.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black towards the center of the beer in color. The head dissipated fairly quick to leave some strings of lace.
The aroma was what I have been looking for in a long time. Many brewers try to brew these peanut butter chocolate beers that flake out by leaning too far towards the sweet side of the peanut butter, or possibly they lean the other way, too far towards the nuttiness. This is none of that, it's the epitome in the entirety of the aroma of an almost practically perfect sweet to roasty peanut buttery goodness. Some milk chocolate keenly moved in with some roasty coffee character. I am thoroughly amazed.
The flavor seemed to pass the torch from the aroma to this department very well. I mean even the saltiness of the peanut butter came across exactly the way I wanted it to. Some light milk chocolate sweetness quaintly admired the rest of the taste to my liking.
The mouthfeel seemed a bit keener in it's body, me, I didn't mind so much because the flavor and aroma seemed to capture my attention the most. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt on par. Finish was all about the peanut butter while pushing the chocolate and coffee further back on into the beer.
Overall, wow, holy moses - what a beer! Like I said, earlier in this review, many brewers try to brew a well balanced peanut butter and those can't do what Altamont just did with this. This is at the top of my list for peanut butter beers!

This is a Nitro Peanut Butter Stout. It's very dark, near black, with long-lasting foam in the English-style pint. This is pretty hard to get down. A little too much of a good thing. Well, they got the peanut butter taste down cold. On tap at the Crafty Fox in San Francisco.
