WARNING: This beer contains an excessive amount of lupulin. Hops thrown in your face three different ways: with the use of hop pellets, cryo hops and resinate CO2 hop extract. Prepare yourself for this citrus/tropical explicit IIPA!

Alewife and I had dinner at The Reservoir in Waterbury on 22SEP20. I had an 11oz pour of this to lead off ($6 50).
Was a clear, medium-golden hue... had a creamy, white head, light carbo, and A-1 lacing. Aroma had rindy citrus, with lots of pineapple and grapefruit. Body was medium, though it was ligh, airy, and a touch prickly on the tongue.
Taste had more pithy, rindy citrus. Was quite dry, with more grapefruit and pineapple, with a somewhat herbal finish. Not bad.... Cheers!!

Lupulin Advisory is a collaboration with Boneyard Beer, pours a vibrant, crystal clear copper color with a fluffy 2-finger head and substantial lacing. The smell reeks of West Coast hops, a big pine aroma with a floral undertone. Taste is big, bold and in your face, dominated by an excessive amount of lupulin. Dank and piney over the palette.

Can dated 1/25/2018 "Don't Trade This" into a tulip glass.
L: Pours vibrant copper with 3+ fingers of khaki frothy head with great retention and left substantial ringed lacing.
S: West Coast punch, lots of pine, citrus and earthy undertones. Floral aspects show up once the beers warms.
T: Follows the nose, but a bit less dynamic. Finishes with a plethora of bitterness and slight ABV burn, drying effect from the ABV and a bit of acidity.
F: Medium bodied, medium-high carbonation, slightly lively on the tongue, bit of warmth from the ABV, slick finish.
O: Very nice incredibly drinkable West Coast collab from two of my favorites. A welcomed refreshing change in a world of too many below average hazy IPAs.

16oz can into imperial pint glass.
A: Pours a clear light iced-tea color with golden highlights. A couple inches of thick foamy head frothed up after the pour and slowly settled into a greasy, rocky, film. Patches of sticky, chunky, lace were left down the glass.
S: Herbal and fresh grassy nose along with notes of pine and sweeter tropical fruit nectars.
T: Follows the nose with dominating herbal, pine, and dank leafy flavors, with just a kiss of sweet more tropical/citrus y notes. The finish has a very leafy and raw herbal freshness to it with a clean herbal bitterness carrying over into the aftertaste.
M: Medium-light body for a dipa, very dry and slick mouthfeel in true Altamont style. The carbonation is low and smooth. Mild lingering sweetness.
O: Another solid dipa with an exception dry/smoothness and potent yet clean flavors. Didn’t knock my socks off, but a great beer nonetheless.
