Thizz ale is what it is! A hop forward golden ale with notes of melon, gooseberry, passion fruit and lychee. Everywhere you drink it, it's a party yall....go stupid!

12oz can. Bottom lip is stamped 'DRE TIME 8/25/23'.
Cloudy, straw colored body. One finger of white head, which recedes back to an island and a very thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma of green melon and lemon.
Taste is gooseberry, passion fruit, lemon, and green melon. Fruits fade quickly in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Minor tongue sting. Good carbonation.
Well balanced fruity golden ale.
Hopped up for fruit flavors.

So we all bought this for the label homage right?
Golden ale pours golden. 1/2" white head. Good clarity to the beer. Aroma of grain and the slightest whiff of a citric rind like hop presence.
Taste is on point for what a blonde ale is. Has a light citrusy hop presence, fits the spritzy mouth feel descriptor. Light grain impact. Carbonation might be a tad higher than normal but fitting for style and otherwise. Just a light hit of astringency to make it feel like it has a little life to it. That light soap and bread territory.
These have their place, especially on those outdoor hot weather days or softball nights. I liked 'em, but like all of the Mac Dre Altamont beers, you end up hooking your homies up who are big Mac Dre fans. Which ain't the worst thing in the world.
Mac Dre was cool, but also had a lot of throwaway tracks. I'll prolly buy another 4 pack when I need a new sticker for the Crispy Boys igloo cooler.

I'm normally not a blonde/golden ale drinker, but this is a pretty nice, unique one here. Very hopped up tropical/white grape fruitiness while still staying clean, refreshing and easy drinking.
