Another pickup from the Harvest 2020 run.
Pours a clear yellow golden much like the BMC big boys who make pretty products. 1/2" white head. She's a looker. The aroma pops nicely, still has a diesel like aspect, mild lager yeast, mild melon. Its not as nice as Nelson Fuel, but what is?
Taste pushes an almost neomexicanus like lemon and lime hop angle. It joins the diesel melon, pine and lagery yeast to make a nice tasting beer. The mouthfeel remains uber snappy and crisp thanks to the lager yeast and nice west coast dry pale toasted malt. Doesn't have to rely on amped up carbonation to get the desired result mouth feel wise. The bitterness is right in my wheel house, its present, firm, but whisks away at the end of each sip, leaving you hankering for another one.
These Cashmere hops come off like a mix of Simcoe, Neomexicanus and Cascade. I'll continue to purchase the fuel IPL series any time, any variety that is available, its solid stuff.

Pours clear and clean. There’s a note in the nose that I get across Altamont's profile, maybe from their yeast? It’s here as well. Drinks easy, although the showcase cashmere hops dont do much for me.

Pours clear honey gold, small head, low retention, barely any lacing. Bit of a funky, skunky sweet floral & melon aroma. Taste is a lot better, lots of hopped-up melon notes. Feel is at the higher end of body & bitterness for a lager.
