Can stamped 02/26/20, I'm assuming that's born on date.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a fairly nice looking translucent golden yellow color with a small sheet of quickly dissipating foamy head. Subtle remnants of wispy lace, here and there.
The aroma had some piney to grassy to grapefruity hoppiness. Delicate cracker malt hidden well below trying to come out with some warmth.
The flavor seemed to mirror the aroma pretty spot on. It has a nice semi-sticky sweet grassy piney stroll on my tastebuds. Small aftertaste of piney sweetness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps a touch under. Good carbonation. Some dryness butting heads with some smooth crisp malts. Tried to finish crisp but leaned into a certain yet acceptable dryness.
Overall, nicely done American imperial IPA worthy of coming back to.

1st review of this beer on BA. Had this at the dipa fest on February 8, 2020.
Pours dark gold/light amber color with 1/2" white head. Aroma was more Mosaic than Cashmere. Was like 90% tropical, and then the rest was a Cascade like grapefruit/pine hit at the end of the bowl. I guess since there is some tropical overlap with Mosaic/Cashmere, I might be understating Cashmere's contribution.
Taste was good, could definitely feel more of Cashmere's impact here, the candied melon, lemongrass meets papaya and guava notes came out, but the body was nice, light and dry allowing for even more discernment as to what the infrequently used Cashmere hop had going on impact wise. Altamont keeps cranking out good hoppy gems and this one is nice that they didn't rely on any overdone combinations. Carbonation done right and once again, another gem at hiding a significant alcohol amount. If I see this in cans in the future, I'll grab at least one, if not a four pack. Solid beer. Would recommend.
