16oz can with no freshness date. Opened 7-11-20.
2 finger tan head, good retention on a black stout. Head falls slowly to a ring. No lace.
Light barrel character, wood/bourbon, vanilla, brown sugar. Sweet, fragrant aroma.
Cola flavor. Cherries and vanilla. Bourbon with melted ice/water.
Describing this as a "mild" bourbon barrel aged imperial stout...huh?
Medium body (thin for a BBA Imperial Stout). Low carbonation. Moderate-length sweet and mildly boozy finish.
Good to Very Good.
